Hi Everyone–taking a bit of a step back for a while. Family stuff.

Hi All,

I am so grateful to readers and folks who have read Light From Uncommon Stars and my other books, and followed Rykaworld.

But it’s been a rough few weeks, and you might have noticed that I have not posted recently.

My mother’s health had been fading.

And on Monday night, my mother passed away. I am so happy that she is finally at peace.

I will be meeting with the good folks from Substack and will keep everyone informed on how to get from here to there.

However, there is a lot to do with family stuff, and I am kind of on autopilot right now, so I might not be able to write as often, nor announce things quickly as I would like.

My apologies and gratitude for your understanding.
